Why? Indian Delight!

On Tuesday night, I gathered with some of my favorite gals for spicy food and non-stop conversation at Indian Delight.

Around the table that night:

Alicia from Poise in Parma

Amanda from Clue Into Cleveland

Julie from Wearing Mascara

Kimberly from SMITTEN…in Cleveland

Crystal from Eat*Drink*Cleveland

Sarah from Cooker Girl

I hadn’t had Indian food in ages and was so excited to try a place that comes highly recommended.  I chose the lamb vitaloo.

Chunks of lamb and potatoes are served in a spicy curry sauce. The entree also came with basmati rice. And I couldn’t pass up an order of garlic naan to soak up all the curry goodness.

I ordered my entree “medium spicy.” It was definitely hot, but not set-your-mouth-on-fire hot.

Indian Delight has a lunch buffet, which I am dying to check out, since there was a lot of the menu I wanted to try. They also do take-out, for dinner on-the-go. The food was delicious and authentic. The service was a bit slow and some of our entrees got mixed up, but we were having so much fun chatting, we didn’t notice all that much.

No alcohol was involved in the making of this photo (or hat)...seriously

I can’t say enough about how much fun I have with these lovely ladies. I used to call them my “blogger friends,” but now they’re simply my friends (who also happen to blog). It’s so great when you can connect with people who share interests, passions, life views, and more. Spending time with these ladies warmed me up even more than the curry!

What’s one of your favorite girls’ night out spots? We need to plan our next outing!

  1. While I enjoyed my tandoori chicken, I have to say I enjoyed the company more than the food. There are far too many tasty spots to check out, so we definitely have to get on scheduling the next dinner STAT!

  2. I loved my food, but you’re right, the fun and conversation made me completely overlook the slow and confusing service. I think girl’s night needs to be added in steady rotation! Love all you ladies!

  3. My food was really good! I ordered 2 entrees so I would have a lot of leftovers to bring home (Indian is Kevin’s fav). After making rice and naan, I had enough for 2 nights of dinners for both of us. Yum!
